NASTY BREED

"Nasty Breed" is the title of a song by one of the most prominent pop-folk Roma singers in Bulgaria - Azis. By reconstructing and reframing the lyrics, the performance builds a surreal image of the present-day reality. Through the use of changing voice tonality and body movements it speaks about values, promoted by the mainstream culture, skillfully hidden behind entertainment industry.
